Blake A. Shuart
Blake joined Hutton & Hutton in September 2009. Blake is a graduate of the University of Kansas, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in English in 2004. He received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2007.
While attending John Marshall, Blake clerked for a law firm specializing in personal injury litigation, as well as the Criminal Appeals Division of the Cook County (Illinois) State's Attorney's Office, where he assisted in the successful defense of numerous appeals. Blake was also a member of the Editorial Board for The Journal of Computer & Information Law, the President of the John Marshall Chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Captain of two Mock Trial teams that competed in competitions throughout the country.
Prior to working at Hutton and Hutton, Blake was an Associate at a Chicago law firm specializing in medical malpractice defense and insurance defense litigation. He was also active with the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association, serving on the Executive Board.
