Mark,
with his brother Andy, co-founded the firm
in 1979. Mark is a graduate of
Washburn University of Topeka, receiving his Bachelor in Business
Arts in 1976 and his Juris Doctor in 1979.
Mark, the 1986 recipient of
Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the
Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, represents individuals in automobile accidents, medical malpractice,
class actions and
products liability suits. Since 1999, Mark
has been selected yearly as one of
The Best Lawyers in America, most recently for 2010. In addition, Hutton & Hutton has been ranked #1 in Kansas and in Wichita in Mass Tort Litigation. Mark’s peers have chosen him as one of the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers for the years 2005 through 2009. Mark’s experience has led to his appointment as plaintiffs’ counsel in mass products liability litigation including In re: Silicone Gel Breast Implant Litigation, MDL 926 and In re: Norplant Contraceptive Products Liability Litigation, MDL 1038.
